How it works

  1. Start by placing Taxi Butler or Guest QR codes. Place the taxi bookers at venues like hotels, bars, and restaurants.
  2. Generating more automated bookings with a simple booking process provided by our technology.
  3. Analyze and understand how your Taxi Butlers are performing in different venues.
  4. Improve, adapt and perfect the stream of bookings from local venues.

Guest QR and the devices can handle as many bookings as you like. You can configure a limit for each device individually in the Management Portal. This helps you control the demand from any one device.

All of our technology gives users the ability to cancel their bookings. Users can cancel bookings on the devices themselves. For the ONE it’s using a button and for Guest QR users can cancel from directly from the booking interface.

The booking process differs on our hardware products, the ONE, from Guest QR’s online booking interface.

For the hardware, users just click on a physical button to book a taxi.

For Guest QR, users scan a QR code and enter a destination along with some information like name and phone number, and track their taxi to the venue.

The ONE device can display 7 bookings at a time.

We’re integrated with nearly every dispatch systems on the market, including iCabbi, Autocab, SmartMove, Cab9 and MTI. See more here.

The ONE and Guest QR all have multiple languages available, it differs per technology. All technology includes English, German, Dutch, and Spanish languages.

With Taxi Butler ONE, each booking is given a reference number, to be communicated to the passenger and which is sent to the driver automatically. This number enables both parties to ensure the right passenger gets into the right taxi. With Guest QR, passengers can track their taxi right to the venue and ensure they get into the right vehicle.

Indeed they can. Generally, devices are placed at reception, to be used by reception staff, which tends to reduce the misuse of the device (fake bookings, pressing the button to try it out, etc.)

To prevent this, taxi fleets can configure a maximum amount of bookings per device at any one time. Training venue staff on the correct usage of the device also minimizes misuse.

Taxi Butler ONE

On the Taxi Butler ONE, press the small ‘X’ button left of the main button to cancel the most recent booking.

The Taxi Butler ONE device can display up to 7 bookings at a time.

The Taxi Butler ONE has a built-in 4G SIM, the costs for this are included as-standard in all of our plans.

The Taxi Bulter ONE shows a reference number to the venue/passenger, which is also sent to the driver. This number enables the two parties to verify that the driver is picking up the correct passengers.

Taxi Butler Quest QR

Guest QR is a service for taxi companies to generate bookings from visitors inside venues like restaurants, hotels, bars, hospitals, airports, casinos, sports clubs and more.

Taxi companies that use Guest QR receive a unique QR code for each of their venues. The QR codes can be scanned by smartphones and are linked to Guest QR’s web booking interface.

Taxi companies place the QR codes in hotel rooms, lounge areas, on restaurant tables, etc. It is a way to get extra exposure for their taxi service and encourage people to book a local taxi during their stay at a venue.

A QR code (short for Quick Response code) is a two-dimensional barcode that can be read by smartphones and other devices. QR codes are typically used to store information such as website URLs. When a QR code is scanned, the device will typically open a web browser and load the stored URL. In the case of the Guest QR, someone can scan the taxi QR code and the device will open the taxi QR code booker in the browser.

QR codes are becoming increasingly common, and they are often used to provide quick and easy access to information. For example, the taxi QR code booker can be accessed easily and quickly by anyone with a smartphone that wants to book a taxi.

The taxi booker will open the user’s browser after scanning the QR code. The taxi QR code booker is meant to book a taxi quickly and easily. Simply choose a destination and taxi type and the taxi QR code booker will order a taxi.

The taxi QR code booker works in 4 steps:

  1. Choose a destination

  2. Select a vehicle type

  3. Enter a name and phone number

  4. Finalise the booking

The whole process takes just a moment, and everyone can be assured of getting a local and reliable taxi service.

When a booking is made, an SMS will be sent to the phone number linked to the booking. This SMS contains a URL link to a webpage where updates can be viewed and the booking can be managed.

Manage, track and cancel bookings, it’s all possible with the taxi QR code booker.

On the taxi tracking page, the taxi QR code booker gives the option to cancel the booking.

Guest QR sends the booking directly to your fleet using your dispatch system. Taxi Butler QR is currently integrated with iCabbi, SmartMove, MTI and Autocab. Many more integrations are currently in progress.
